Home Battery in Halderberge
In Halderberge, an increasing number of households are opting for a home battery, especially now that the salderingsregeling (the Dutch net metering scheme) will end on 1 January 2027. We are here to assist you in making the right choice: which system best suits your home, your energy consumption, and your grid connection?

WHAT IT YIELDS FOR YOU
Your own electricity, even in the evening.
During the day, solar panels often generate more electricity than you consume. Without a battery, this surplus is fed back into the grid, and from 2027 onwards, the compensation you receive for this will be reduced. A home battery allows you to store your excess power for use in the evening.
We serve the entire municipality of Halderberge: Oudenbosch, Hoeven, Bosschenhoofd, Oud Gastel, and Stampersgat. You have also come to the right place if you are located in Roosendaal, Etten-Leur, Moerdijk, or Bergen op Zoom.
Increased self-consumption
Consume a greater portion of your solar energy yourself, rather than feeding it back to the grid for a low return.
Greater energy independence
Reduced exposure to rising energy rates, feed-in charges (terugleverkosten), and expensive peak hours.
Ready for 2027
On 1 January 2027, the salderingsregeling (the Dutch net metering scheme) will come to an end. A battery system absorbs a significant portion of this loss.
YOUR GRID CONNECTION
Your grid connection in Halderberge: Enexis (netbeheerder, regional grid operator)
In Halderberge, Enexis is your netbeheerder (regional grid operator). Enexis operates as the grid operator in regions including Noord-Brabant, Limburg, and the north and east of the Netherlands. Enexis is responsible for the cables up to and including your electricity meter; everything beyond that point forms part of your own private installation. You do not need to apply for a permit for a home battery, but you are required to register it via energieleveren.nl, just as you would with solar panels. If you require higher capacity—for instance, to support an EV charging station or a heat pump—a heavy-duty grid connection upgrade may be necessary. You can apply for this upgrade directly through Enexis. We will gladly advise you on whether this is required.
