You do not need to request permission for a home battery, but you must register it via energieleveren.nl, just as you would with solar panels. If you require higher capacity—for example, for an electric vehicle charging station or a heat pump—an upgraded grid connection may be necessary. This can be requested from Enexis. We can advise you on whether an upgrade is required.
