Stedin manages the cables up to and including your meter; everything beyond that is your own installation. You do not need to apply for a permit for a home battery, but you must register it via energieleveren.nl, just like solar panels. If you require more power—for example, for an EV charging station or heat pump—a higher-capacity grid connection may be necessary. You can request this from Stedin.
