In Zandvoort, Liander is your netbeheerder (regional grid operator). Liander operates as the grid operator across large parts of North Holland, Gelderland, Flevoland, and South Holland. Liander manages the grid infrastructure up to your meter; everything downstream from that point is part of your own electrical installation. You do not need to request permission for a home battery, but you must register it via energieleveren.nl, just as you would with solar panels. If you require higher capacity, for instance for an EV charging station or a heat pump, a grid connection upgrade may be necessary. You can apply for this upgrade with Liander. We are glad to advise you on whether this is required.
