Liander maintains the grid up to and including your electricity meter; everything beyond that point belongs to your private installation. You do not need to request permission for a home battery, but you must register it via energieleveren.nl, just as you would with solar panels. If you require higher capacity, for instance for a charging station or heat pump, a higher-capacity grid connection may be necessary. You can request this upgrade directly from Liander. We are happy to advise whether this will be required for your setup.
