You do not need to apply for a permit for a home battery, but you must register it via energieleveren.nl, just as you would with solar panels. If you require more power capacity—for instance, for a charging station or heat pump—an upgraded grid connection may be necessary. You can request this directly from Liander. We are happy to advise you on whether this upgrade is required.
