In Midden-Delfland, Westland Infra is your netbeheerder (regional grid operator). Westland Infra is the regional grid operator for the Westland area and parts of the surrounding region. Westland Infra manages the cables up to and including your meter; everything downstream of that constitutes your own installation. You do not need to apply for permission to install a home battery, but you must register it via energieleveren.nl, just as you would with solar panels. If you require higher capacity, for example for an EV charging station or a heat pump, an upgraded grid connection may be necessary. You can apply for this directly with Westland Infra. We are happy to advise you on whether this is required.
